Each shake and smoothie recipe provides rich sources of the following nutrients which help manage cholesterol levels: Niacin, Folic Acid, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, Magnesium, Calcium, Copper, Soluble Fiber, Monounsaturated fat, and Omega-3 fat. Additionally, soy yogurt is incorporated into each recipe as the isoflavones (estrogen-like organic compounds) in soy are believed to produce a modest reduction in LDL cholesterol.
